What a wonderful site, and I\'m glad to see I haven\'t been the only one wanting to use a prayer shawl in his worship of God, His Son our Lord and Saviour, and His wonderful Spirit. Couple of questions. . . When do you meet, and are the women using the shawls in your services?? Thank you for any response.

Hi I have been in North Vancouver for 1 year and wondered what church you attend and whether you know of a 24/7 house of prayer in Vancouver or surroundings? I am so excited to discover your website as in South Africa we listened to a lot of harp and bowl teaching as well as Jewish roots and i have felt so isolated since arriving in NVan. would love to hear your info on 24/7 house of prayer in Vancouver. Your website looks awesome and i know I will be blessed spending hours studying. I can see that you love all my favourite authors. thanks for the blessing Wendy Timm 604 987 8986...

sorry just imagined you were from Vancouver coz i put that in the search, but now realise that you could be anywhere in cyber space. Thanks anyway Wendy Timm

Sorry Wendy, we are not in Vancouver and you didn't leave us an email address ;-) We'll keep our ears out for any 24/7 houses in your area. Be sure to also check out http://www.extremeprophetic.com with Pat King. She is very close to you and is in the same "river" of 24/7 prayer... but more prophetic. I'm sure her group can get you connected!

Blessings and thanks for the words of encouragement

Hey bros. My name is Tommy Wadford, jr. I am an associate pastor at the Breaking Chains Outreach center in Woodford, SC. About 5 months ag o my intercessory brothers and I began wearing tallits when we met on Tuesday nights for prayer. We too, have seen incredible things begin to happen to us. We have found that our prayer sessions have gotten longer and more intense, and the Gifts of the Spirit are being made more and more manifest in our group. Did the prayer shawls have anything to do with these blessings? Probably not, but to have something as old in tradition as a tallit to actually touch, something that Jesus himself would have worn, makes for an incredible link with our Lord, and with our Jewish brothers. I would love to hear from you guys. My e-mail address is cakeman29053@yahoo.com. Please write and let me know how God is moving in your lives. Yours in Christ, Tommy

Brothers, I am so glad to hear that a family from Ga. with Baptist roots as I has found the "Power in the blood" from Our Father in Hebrew terms. There is a great difference. Finding the truth of His Word reqires us to seek that truth at the source. History is so full of conterfits that by our own understanding we would be lost. With his mercy we will learn His truth, His Word, Yesuha. Shalom. Joseph

Shalom, I am a messianic Jewish believer and looked for a site to explain Messianic Passover to a Gentile believer Pen-Pal. You did a much better job than I could have. Thanks for having this site, and thank you Messianic Gentiles who provoked us to jealous because of your love for the God of Israel - who is Lord of all! Please know that Jews cannot provoke Jews to jealousy, but you Gentiles sure can. My people need you to know your Jewish roots. Since my wife and I celebrate the Passover in a Messianic manner, I thought some teaching on the Passover would be an effect approach before revealing to my son the pagan roots of the bunny and egg. Thanks for having this information available. I am thankful that the Lord is revealing himself to his body in all his Jewishness. Shalom, James

Shalom Blessings from Jerusalem Israel! The Thestimony by Minister -Daniel Rozen... To all who desire to have a greater revelation of the Love of God which has the power to change the hearts of men, to bring comfort where there is pain and freedom where there is bondage, This is the testimony of my life given from God. That they may all be one, even as thou ,Father , are in me, and I in Thee, That they also might be in us; That the world may believe that Thou didst send Me." Amen. Galiziah which borders on the Poland and Ukraine was where I was born. Being the son of Jewish holocaust survivors, I was aware at an early age of the recent history of my people, the Jewish people. Memories that were still fresh in the minds of my parents and relatives, were related to me on many occasions. These memories consisting of stories of fear, personel shame, and murder each time was a moment relived when told to me by my parents or grandparents as I saw the pain in their faces, as they recounted family members who were given up by Russian government into the hands of Nazi Germany to be killed. Both my mother and father's family were killed in the holocaust. My grandfather a rabbi whom I never saw, was taken by the Nazis never to be seen again . In my heart I hated both the Russian and German people alike because of what they did. It was difficult for me to work with any one who was Russian or German because even the language itself would displease me. In my eyes it was just as bad. Living in Jerusalem one of my earlier jobs as a young man, was working in a hospital. Here I would meet many people who came from different parts of the world to help the nation of Israel as volunteers.. On one occasion I was approached by a man who introduced himself to me, explained he was from Holland and was volunteering in Israel. He invited me to a messianic fellowship he was attending in Jerusalem. This mans kindness and invitation made me curious to visit this place. What really touched my heart was not the messages of the preacher that moved me or the songs so much, but the love and kindness that eminated from this people towards me and to each other, and this is what I needed. This is what we the Jewish people need so much and are drawn by.. The people made me feel valued and gave me a sense of belonging.. Although I was a regular visitor to the congregation, I still did not understand or believe what they spoke about, this Yeshua (Jesus) being the Messiah of the Jewish people and the whole world, by taking upon himself the sins of the world. This was very hard for me to understand considering the recent history of my people. My heart was hard like a stone. Being a typical Israeli I was proud, because we as a people know much about God and the prophets, but to uderstand the mission of Yeshua and His purpose was very hard. I Corinthians 1:23 says "But we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness, but to those who are the called , both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the Wisdom of God.. A year passed and I still did not believe I was living in sin. Then I realized that I could no longer go on living in sin and felt I needed to make a decision to change my life. At this point I decided to follow Yeshua. You see Yeshua does not push us to obey Him, but leads us to follow Him. God waits for our decisions, to change the things that influence us from the world, and to be more influenced by His Holy Spirit. It was at a fellowship gathering one evening that as we were worshiping, a member of the congregation,an Ausrtrian man came and fell at my feet crying and asking me to forgive him and his people for what they did to the Jewish people during the Holocust. There are no words for me to describe to you what I felt as the compassion and love of God that flowed through me towards this brother. Immediately God began to heal and set me free from the hate I carried for so long. My heart melted before this man and we embraced each other. In the pure love of God there is true unity, and in repentance, deliverance from the bondage of sin, and healing where there is compassion. This is what I have seen and experienced. As I have ministered now in both in the Ukraine and Germany. I have seen this happen as men and women weep concerning the past and have approached me sobbing and asking for forgiveness. Seeing as His people approach Him with repentant hearts. He has been faithful in a mighty way, through healing His people and setting them free from bondage. Though there is One who only has the power to remove our sins far from us and pardons our iniquities, we are encouraged in the word of God , to where it is possible be at peace with all men, especially our brethren "For how blessed it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. It is like the anointing oil on the head, for there the Lord commands the blessing of life forevermore." Where there is unity in the pure love of God, there is power, for then the Lord will command His blessing and anoint us through the power of His Holy Spirit. I have come to realize that my brothers and sisters are those who do the will of God, and the Gentiles are those who do not abide by His commandments. Those who are focussed for His land and people He will bless and it is His promise..We live in Jerusalem Israel with my wife who is from the ” Philippines- Cebu” and my four year old daughter. .I believe that our marrige is a testimony to all, that God has brought both Jew and Gentile together to proclaim His word and His power to save all who call on His name. There is truly nothing impossible for God. Trust Him today. "John 13:34:35 A new commandment I give unto you that You Love one another even as I have Loved You, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know you are My diciples, if you love one another." In this season I feel Yeshua Adonai moving within us to preach the pure Love of God to His people, both the Arabs and the Jews. To proclaim His good news in all the areas of Israel. There are many good brothers, and sisters in the faith on both these sides and my prayer is for them to have a greater revelation about the land of Israel and God's Purpose for His people… We believe that God is the same yesterday, today and forever and he hears us when we ask anything according to his will. Therefore,we welcome your prayer requests and request your prayerful and financial support as we do God's will. Please remember to Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and the well being of all peoples of the world. "You who remind the Lord, take no rest for yourselves; and give Him no rest until He establishes and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth." (Isaiah 62:6) "For Zion's sake I will not be silent and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest." (Isaiah 62:1) We give a warm welcome to those who wish to visit us in Jerusalem Israel. “ Jerusalem Foundation Living Stone Ministry " Isaiah 28:16 Pastor. Daniel & Vered-Chen. Rozen P.O.BOX 28069. Grace and Peace in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. I was so pleased to find this sight. As a long time Christian I have often longed to learn more of and practice our Jewish roots. However, as a Gentile I wondered if it would be somehow wrong for us to persue the great traditions of the Jewish people for they are the chosen people of God and we are those grafted in by grace. I will certainly continue to research this sight and will continue, with peace, to persue the knowledge and practice of our Jewish roots. S. Letterman spiritandtruthministries@msn.com

Thank you....... I have no Jewish roots except by being grafted into Jesus family by my love for him..... I want to teach my children the faith Jesus was born into and as a family we will be adopting the seder into our Passion season.. There is a personalization of faith that comes with saying and hearing the very words Jesus said and heard on the night he was betrayed. You are a blessing to our family and to many others. Shalom! I too, raised in a Christian setting (Southern Baptist to be precise) discovered that my great-grandparents were of German Jewish blood. I am studying and basking in my heritage, and feel a special feeling in seeing the fulfillment of the Old Testament with the New. There are a few Messianic Jewish congregations in North Carolina; however, they are difficult to locate. I also found you guys interesting because my family moved to NC from Georgia. I wish I could meet and fellowship with you. I too, celebrate the Jewish feasts and for the first time last year, my two daughters and I celebrated Hanakkah. I would really like to get to know more about your ministry and share stories with you. I really am looking forward to hearing from you... Melissa Miles Abrams mabrams0415@earthlink.net

What do we call ourselves? Jewish-Christians? There certainly is a rising of Messianic Judaism but are there churches organized (as the first Messianic Church was) that adhere to the understanding that Jesus is the Jewish Messiah and that we as believing Gentiles are from Jewish Roots? Please advise or are these "True Jewish Christian Churches" yet to be established? I welcome your information about the Jewish Roots of Christianity and about the Messianic Seal of the Church of Jerusalem. Perhaps this is the appointed time for a true understanding and a true following of the teachings of Yeshua, our Jewish Christian Jesus. God is speaking to other believers through the Jewish prayer shawl. I found your web site while looking for further information. While my husband was suffering the effects of chemotherapy for one of the last times, I tucked him back under his hospital covers. I had been praying desparately for His comfort to come to him and had spent many hours by then massaging his aching body. As I draped the blanket over his shoulders, he smiled weakly and patted the blanket stating, " this is like my prayer shawl...it's brightly colored, with stripes". I assured him he was covered with a lot of prayer and that I knew that men of God in the Bible wore prayer shawls to show their devotion to God, but that was all I knew. He fell asleep, yet remembered the conversation a few days later when he felt a little better. We called a Bible teacher we knew for some information about prayer shawls. A week later Phil received a beautiful made in Israel prayer shawl from our friend and an accompanying fact sheet about the shawls. Phil and I prayed together under the shawl for the remainder of the weeks before his passing. He wore the shawl during the Lord's supper after miraculously surviving a night in the intensive care unit. 5 spirit filled nurses, the hospital chaplain, Amy, Phil's 2 best friends and myself shared this with him. One of the nurses, Ann, annointed him with oil she had purchased in Jerusalem as we prayed. 2 weeks later, the prayer shawl covered part of his casket as a very personal respresentation of the holiness and sovereignty of God, His provision and His healing. God clearly visited us throughout his illness and blessed him with seven more years of healthful living than the doctors had originally predicted. We had never really heard of a prayer shawl before this. It has been nearly one year since he went to be with our Lord. His prayer shawl remains in a drawer with his Bible. I have prayed under it in moments of intense grief and despair over this past year. I will treasure it always as a reminder of God's faithfullness, love and mercy to us. Thank you for allowing me to comment. And thank you for your interesting photos and web site. My address is janeg1205@worldnet.att.net Jane

[Note from Threemacs: This is a continuation of a rather lengthy entry that brings up many commonly held views of Jewish people toward Yeshua as the Messiah.  In some ways, it touches on some of the deeply held emotions and thoughts of the Jewish people toward Christianity in general. Part of the reason, as we state on many occasions and whenever we can, is that the Gentile people who have borne the name of the Messiah have treated His brothers according to the flesh in the most UN-godly manner throughout history.  Our writings and web site are not primarily meant to draw Jewish people.. they are meant primarily to spur Gentile believers toward a love of the Jewishness of our faith-- and also repentance for very wrong attitudes and views that the Church has held towards God's natural covenant people.  We enjoy dialog with anyone who is truly searching for the Messiah... but we also understand there are many strongholds of both history and religious thinking that have to be overcome even on an intellectual level before the real facts can be considered or discussed.  Hopefully we all can learn something from these dialogs... ]  You can read the full comment and our response.if you are interested.

[Note from Threemacs: we had a rather lengthy posting on this date from an anonymous visitor who cut and pasted a very common argument against the Messiahship of Yeshua.  It really gave me great pleasure to research the claims of this particular objection as to why Yeshua can not be the true Messiah... and I must say it blessed my socks off to find out yet another fascinating aspect of God's story of redemption.  With every argument against Yeshua, I see yet another facet of God's marvelous ways and why He chose the exact circumstances and method of the birth of Yeshua to the young virgin Miriam (Mary)... ]

I came upon your site while searching for a prayer shawl and was blessed by the words you wrote in "Gentiles in Prayer Shawls". The Holy Spirit has for some time now placed a desire in my heart for my own prayer shawl. I agree with you that "strange" things are happening these days and I don't understand it all either, but I know that my heart too is filled with the desire to see the unification of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. I know there is nothing magical about the prayer shawl itself, but I believe that my spiritual life will grow and the presence of the Lord will be ever more powerful during my prayer time with one. For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile - the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him. April Lohmann Albuquerque, NM

Blessings in the name of Yeshua our Messiah!! Thanks for your encouragement...I have enjoyed surfing your website and have picked up a comfortable name .. "messianic gentile".... I never really thought of it that way. I have gone into too much explanation to others about my beliefs when they ask me if I am Jewish (because I worship in a Messianic Synagogue)...I have found myself fumbling over a response to that question...."Well, no, I'm not Jewish, I don't have a Jewish heritage, but I have a Jewish heart. I am a christian who worships with Jewish & Gentile believers in the Messiah..." (Yada...yada...yada...geeezzz...I wear myself out with explanations! whew!). You have helped me and cleared the way for me to explain to my children (who don't understand why I want to do this "jewish stuff when I'm not jewish"....(we came into messianic judaism after being through many different christian churches/denominations.) I never really felt comfortable celebrating in a jewish manner because I wasn't raised in judaism (but catholicism), however, I YEARN to celebrate and have a messianic jewish home/prayer life/shabbat observance type home & family! (Am I making any sense to you??LOL!)....I have a husband who is a believer, but I sometimes wonder about that. I am a believer (but I sometimes wonder how strong & dedicated I myself am in faith). Anyway...I'll start a new paragraph and try not to bore you with details.... You have helped me in this way....and I will explain to my almost adult children this way too...that we could continue celebrating the holidays in a pagan way, or follow G-d's way and celebrate like Yeshua did. I can now say that I am a Messianic Gentile and feel comfortable with the whole Megillah! :) Thank you! You are an answer to prayer...a prayer that though unspoken today, G-d, who sees and hears my heart & knows my innermost thoughts & yearnings, is answering & comforting me. He is so WONDERFUL! Thank you for your encouragement...I pray you will remain doctrinally sound in all you do. Remain in prayer and in the Word! G-d Bless! Janis

So many little things I never knew where a part of your various celebrations. I am beginning to understand the Jewish faith in a new and wonderful way. I thank you, my friends. I agree with you about why we should celebrate G-d's feast days. But I don't understand your acceptance of the pagan holidays. In the same books (the Torah - first 5 books of old testament), in which G-d commanded us to keep the feast days (throughout our generations!), G-d also states to not associate with the pagans...do not even say the names of their pagan gods. I am a Jew who was raised catholic. Now in my adult years, I have come to know the real truth. Christmas, easter, st. valentine's day, and halloween (to name a few) are abominations to G-d. I don't care if you try to christianize it or not, He never told us to celebrate His birthday. Jesus said in Matthew 5 that He did not come to abolish the Torah but to fulfill it. Abolish and fulfill are NOT synonymous. If the pagan cultures were an abomination in the old testament...guess what? They still are. Thanks for allowing me to express my beliefs. Hi guy's; It's me, Rob (a.k.a. Robbie), your great-nephew. Very great :~ ) I thoroghly enjoyed your website. I loved the symbols and how it was explained. It shed more light on our relationship as Jew and Gentile with our Creator. Thank you. I have mass emailed this out to my friends and family, believer and heathern alike. My email is pctamer@bellsouth.net. Drop me a line. May this website be blessed by the Spirit of God. Our Lord is returning soon and I will join you in your prayers for the peace of Israel to herald the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May our Lord bless you in all that you do.
