For no other foundation can anyone lay than
that which is laid,
which is Jesus the Messiah.
1 Corinthians 3:11
Table of Contents
The Foundations of the Faith guide is broken up into reasonably
small pieces of material designed for a weekly reading or
meditation. These handouts could be used for one-on-one
discipleship, group study, or personal devotion.
Questions are included as part of each reading to facilitate
discussions or reflection. At the end of each lesson is a set
of questions from the material for review. Answers are
provided separately. |
Meditate on the Scripture verses in each
lesson: ask God for understanding and insight into the meaning of
His Word. Pray for a willing heart and grace to obey the
things you learn. |

A Tarnished Image |
Mankind was made in the image and
likeness of God. That image has been tarnished by our sin
and disobedience, but we can recover that image through our
